More More

My baby boy L is almost a year old. He is going to be a full blown toddler soon and he is starting to understand the world a lot more. He can now ask for the things that he wants and the way he does it is saying more more.

If L wants more food, he will say more more. If L wants you to open a door, he will say more more. If L wants to go on a walk…he won’t say more more, but he will drag the baby carrier over to me to signal that he wants to go outside (which is the cutest thing ever!). It’s another way to say more more!

He is starting to realize that his words and actions can yield the right results without crying and screaming. It is a very welcomed development in a very boisterous house. When L needs anything, he will try to say more more, but if nothing happens, he will always fall back on crying and screaming (don’t change what isn’t broken right?). I know L is going to be talking up a storm in no time and until then, I’ll just enjoy his little hand signals and the cute way he says more more for a bit longer.
